Tech FREAKY - beta

huh, here month ends, today is last day of the first month of the year 2008. This month was the most brilliant of my blogging career, I experienced many new things and learnt a lot about many thing, new online relations were made, new friends from entrecard as well as from blogging fraternity was acquainted. I was reviewed and also reviewed. I offered my free designs for friendly people, Entrecard shop was opened and designed was served and served (yup two posts for design collection). In short whole month was full of things for me, beside my studies I was not able to concentrate on it as I ought to. In February I’ll be adding some more regular and interesting sections for my readers, and there will also be nice contest for my entrecard members.

[Wavelog] is new tool to enable S60 Nokia Phones to directly blog from phone. One can post content as text, image, audio or video.

Wavelog does not restrict users to a specific blog hosting provider, social network or an intermediate content aggregation. It permits a complete freedom for choosing blog hosting provider or even installing own blog publishing system on the Internet, extranet, intranet, or a local area network. It is designed for performance, scalability and reliability, so it is coded in C++ programming language as a native S60 application. Wavelog does not use any form of usage tracking for targeted advertisement or direct marketing purposes.

It has been developed and tested successively on Nokia N95 mobile phones posting to the WordPresspublishing system.

Google is everywhere on the internet serving people at every nook, we also seek it to help us for good and bad both. This time again Google is serving for people, by offering the OpenID provider from its blogspot platform.

One can easily have an OpenID for each of owned blog URLs which can be used on any website that accepts OpenID 1.1 authentication.

How to Get one ?

Simply edit your profile at blogspot and mark the check for Enable OpenID for Blogs and it’s done.

However they say:

Since this feature is still in draft, there are a few caveats:

1. We currently do not support OpenID for blogs that aren’t hosted on Blog*Spot or a custom domain, such as FTP blogs. However, the OpenID web site has a help page that explains how to workaround this limitation by delegating your FTP blog to a Blogger-hosted blog.
2. If you say “Yes, Always” to trust an OpenID site forever, you cannot now delete that trust. We will add this feature soon.

When we start a program from the start menu, it will automatically disappear after we’ve clicked on one of the program shortcut. Now if you need to launch another program, you need to open again the start menu.

What if you want to open more than one program/application by a single on start program ?
- Simply, hold the SHIFT key and open as much programs you want to open, and start program won’t disappear after you click on the shortcuts to open programs untill you wish it to close.

It also works when you want to delete different program shortcuts from the start menu.
